There are four establishments with the new image in Barcelona.
Pans & Company, flagship restaurant brand of the Eat Out Group has announced the remodelling of two of its Barcelona-based restaurants: one in Plaza Urquinaona and the other in Portal de l'Angel. Both establishments have reopened their doors with a renovated and more current profile, adapted to the new times.
The brand now has four establishments with the new Pans & Company image in Barcelona and the chain seeks to improve customer experience through a more comfortable, welcoming and warmer atmosphere. The remodelling of Pans Urquinaona is particularly significant, as it was the first Pans & Company establishment in Spain, opening in 1991, more than 24 years ago.
The new Pans establishments in Urquinaona and Portal de l‘Àngel have separate areas called Pans Café, where, at any time of day, clients can enjoy the best coffee and hand-made pastries, prepared daily on the premises. Moreover, along with traditional sandwiches that make up the brand’s main menu, the new Pans & Company will also offer pizza slices that can be enjoyed on or off the premises.
In the words of Sergio Rivas, CEO of Eat Out, "the remodelling of Urquinaona and Portal de l'Angel will allow us to showcase our new look in Barcelona’s most popular shopping areas. Catalonia is a strategic market for us and a key factor in meeting our ambitious expansion plan in Spain, where we have plans to open 7 restaurants and remodel another 10 between now and the end of the year".
The other two Pans & Company establishments that already have the new image are located in Barcelona at Can Drago Mall and the Màgic Mall at Badalona. Nationally, the brand has stores with the new image in Madrid (calle Postas and Plaza de Callao) and Valencia, on calle Ruzafa.
